Diana joined the LCC while in grade 6 and soon became part of a team that stayed together through her junior curling years. Team members with Diana were Jackie Lee Chisholm, Melanie Comstock and Rebecca Nodding . These girls curled for many years under the watchful eye of coach Bob Mayo, finally reaching the pinnacle of success in 1991 by winning the right to represent Nova Scotia at the Canada Winter games in PEI. Eventually Diana teamed up with her husband, Kent, his brother Scott and Scott's wife Colleen to capture the 1994 provincial mixed title. The national mixed was also held in PEI and the team finished a respectable fourth after losing the quarter final game. Today Diana is an active member of the club and recently skipped a team that won the Curl for a Cause fundraiser.

Diana was born in Lunenburg, where she attended both elementary and high school. After graduation she ventured to Wolfville, attending Acadia University where she received her Bachelor of Recreation Management Degree in 1996. Currently, she is employed as the Education Coordinator with the Bluenose Coastal Action Foundation, a nonprofit organization (part of the Federal Green Plan) formed to address environmental issues concerning Atlantic Canadian harbours. Most of her time is spent in schools delivering presentations and educational material on a variety of environmental topics including recycling, solid waste management, climate change and aquatic species.

Diana and her husband, Kent (also a curler), met at a New Year’s Eve dance held at the curling club in 1992 and were married in Jamaica in 1999. They have a daughter who is eager to follow in her parents’ footsteps and become a curler. Diana loves most outdoor activities, including camping, boating, fishing, target shooting, cycling and running. She runs the annual Lunenburg Heritage 5k Road Race each year as well as participating in a 100k Multiple Sclerosis Bike Tour. Last year's tour was Windsor to Wolfville and back. In her down time she loves to curl up with a great book or do some baking with her daughter.
