Annette Forward
 Annette Forward

Annette began curling in 2000. After watching her nephew, Adam, curl in the Little Rocks she decided to try it herself. She took the instructional course headed by Jim and Heather Eisenhauer. In the meantime she has been on the winning team of many women’s and evening competitive events and won two cups last year.

Annette is a lifetime resident of Lunenburg. She graduated from Parkview High School after attending Centre and Lunenburg . She can recall seeing prisoners from the Centre Gaol exercising behind the fence next to the school. She married her husband, Gilbert, in ’82 and they have two grown children, Malina and Brad, who both graduated from Parkview and now work at Atlantic Composites. Annette works part time at Rudolf’s but will soon be switching to the Island Beach Co. store in Lunenburg. Gilbert worked as a fisherman for Clearwater for 30 years until October ’07. He now works at Nova Scotia Building Supplies in Blockhouse.

The Forwards are selling their camper after many years of frequent use cruising around the province and New Brunswick. Annette enjoys boating, working their vegetable garden and any outdoor activity. She watches a lot of movies on DVD.
