Annual
Bob Mayo Memorial Stick Spiel February 3 and 4. Even if you've never tried stick curling,
organizer Kevin Mayo encourages you to join in the fun. Experience, he says, is no prerequisite to winning! Stick curling is played in teams of two,
(male, female or mixed). (click here for stick curling rules) The spiel is open to everyone so this is a great opportunity to introduce your non-curling friends to the sport. The club will provide the sticks.
The Spiel begins Friday at 6 pm. (Details will be confirmed when the teams are known.) Play resumes on Saturday afternoon
and will continue into Saturday evening. The sign-up sheet is on the Club board
and Kevin asks that you register by Wednesday, February 1. Entry is $20 per team. |
